Details of the Initiative
Meiji University has a long history of accepting students with disabilities, and since the 1980s, we have been providing Braille entrance exams for students who are totally blind. In recent years, we have received requests for consideration from students with various disabilities, symptoms, and circumstances, such as visual impairment, hearing impairment, physical disability, developmental disability, etc., and we do our best to consult with them in order to provide them with equal access to higher education. Not all requests can be met, but Meiji University supports students with disabilities so that they can have equal opportunities to take entrance exams, while also taking into consideration support after admission.
